Day Ten

Today in Human Geo we discussed the test we have on Wednesday. Mr. Schick asked us about what questions we would like to see on the test. We talked about a lot of very good questions. We also had a really good talked about the future from the Did You Know 3.0. We talked about things like the IPhone and IWatch. The IWatch could be the new wallet, it has things on it like your credit card information.

Some of the questions people said were:

• Who wrote the Message to Garcia? - Elbert Hubert 
• The purpose of Elbert writing AMG? - to get the lazy people motivated 
• What war was being fought during this tale? - Spanish-American War
• Name an element of globalization? - changes traditions in other countries, tribesmen in Africa talking on cellphones etc. 
• Positive & Negative in globalization? - Positive: the world is more connected (connectedness), Negative: because there building new factories everyday and it is polluting the air which give them health problems, and also cause the death of animals (less birds etc.) 
• Ancient Greece Definitions
• Why is the American language so important? - because it is the international language of business. 
• How did the American language become the international language of business? - When the Americans won World War II in the Babyboomer stage; countries like Britain got destroyed by the war and it was depressed other there, so while they were rebuilding, we were making businesses and selling and it was an economic boost.
• And lastly Socrates famous quote was? - 

"The un examined life is not worth living."

He was saying that too not question things is not a very good life to live. You should be able to think on your own, not have someone tell you what to think.
