My ALS Ice Bucket Challenge :)

For Mr. Schick's class today, we basically just talked about how to properly do our blogs.

But most importantly, we talked a little bit about the horrible diease ALS.  ALS affects about 10,000 people in the USA. Those people are mostly young women and men, who will only live up to 2-5 years. Not many people know what the diease ALS is, they just know those "crazy people" dumping ice cold water on their head. But this diease and awareness is much more than that. The ALS diease starts out with the affected person losing feelings in their arms and hands, eventually it's their legs, their upper body and then they start to slowly have trouble breathing.

I think that it's good that ALS is becoming noticed more and more, because people like celebrities with money just sitting around, not using. They are giving money to help cure then terrible diease. Even if you have only 10 little dollars to donate, every single dollar counts and the people with the diease and the families appreciate it so much. (:
